Judging Process & Categories
CREATIVE AWARDS
All creative award entries are judged against the following criteria:
- The soundness of the campaign's objectives and how it fits with overall brand strategy
- Campaign Execution
- Evidence of the campaign's success
After selecting the top 10 campaigns, the judging panel chooses as maximum of four winners in each category.
These winners are announced in The Grocer in July, and receive a Gramia at the presentation ceremony.
The winners compete on the night for the ultimate award, a 'Diamond' Gramia, which is presented to the overall winner in each category.
AGENCY AWARDS
Entries to the creative awards automatically secures entry into the agency awards. These are a celebration of an agency's work across multiple campaigns and multiple clients.
The Top 10 campaigns are awarded a mark (with 10 points for the winning campaign, and 1 point for the 10th-place campaign). The judges then consider the 500 word agency nomination that must be submitted as part of each creative category entry. This comprises 50% of the total mark. Judges will be looking at the agency's business wins, client management (including crisis communications in the case of PR agencies), people development and other notable achievements.
